CLEAR # 1 UV Resistant ClearCoat (450ml Aerosol)

CLEAR #1 is a 1K, ready to use clear coat in an aerosol. It is used for finishing coated surfaces in order to achieve a high gloss, UV resistant, durable finish.  CLEAR #1 is the ultimate SMART repair tool that is crystal clear, has excellent build, is compatible with water-based base coats, and gives 2K performance with the convenience of an aerosol. The cured CLEAR #1 has excellent gloss and image depth it is ideal for spot repairs and gives a durable, UV resistant finish.

CLEAR #1 is isocyanate free.

Surface preparation and instructions for use

• Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces with a suitable spirit wipe or thinner such as U-POL System20 Degreaser.
• Abrade solid colored coatings wet or dry with 800-1000 abrasive, reclean, dry and degrease. If coating solvent-based basecoats, apply CLEAR #1 within a period 20 minutes after application of the base coat.
• Shake can thoroughly before use for a minimum of 2 minutes.
• Apply 1-2 light even coats.
• Allow 5-10 minutes flash off time between coats.
• Drying time Allow 30 minutes before handling.
