PRO-TEX is a urethane-based truckbed liner system that provides a hard, durable finish with superior protection. The coating demonstrates great adhesion, film build and flexibility. PRO-TEX is versatile and bonds permanently to most properly prepared surfaces, including steel, aluminum, concrete, wood and fiberglass. Next, clean with 38373 SEM SOLVE. Then, sand the surface with 180-220 grit paper. If rust is present, grind or sandblast until all rust is removed. Apply a 2K epoxy primer, such as ML01( ) METALOCK DTM HIGH BUILD PRIMER or a urethane primer over any bare metal, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Sand the primer with 180-220 grit paper. Blow off dust and tack clean. Fiberglass and SMC Prime the surface with a 2K epoxy primer, such as ML01( ) METALOCK DTM HIGH BUILD PRIMER or a urethane primer following the manufacturer’s instructions. Sand the primer with 180-220 grit paper, blow off dust and tack clean. Wood Pressure wash surface first and allow to fully dry. Sand the surface with 180-220 grit paper, blow off the dust and tack clean. Concrete Pressure wash surface and allow to fully dry. MIXING : NOTE: Do not catalyze more than 1 quart of PRO-TEX at a time due to the short working time. Use 71001 PRO-TEX TRUCKBED LINER GUN or a premium undercoating gun with a ½” pick-up tube at 45-90 psi. Do not use a standard Schutz type applicator gun as the diameter of the pick-up tube is not large enough to deliver PRO-TEX effectively.
