Convoluted foam face for use with a 6 inch dual action sander. Makes it easy to apply finishing glaze evenly. Uses 3M™ Hookit™ II Pad 05276.
Instructions for Use:
1. Center the DA Glazing Pad Part No. 05739 to the 3M™ Hookit™ II 6 in. Backup Pad Part No. 05276.
2. Adjust the air pressure for the DA tool between 45 and 60 PSI for maximum performance.
3. Apply 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Finishing Glaze Part No. 05941 to the painted surface.
4. Operate the DA tool at a medium speed keeping the pad flat on the surface to assure a consistent and level application of Finishing Glaze.
5. If Glazing Pad becomes clogged, remove and install a clean pad. Rinse soiled pad in warm water (up to 115º F) and squeeze to remove excess water. Place pads face up in a clean area to dry.
6. The Finishing Glaze is to be applied with the DA foam pad and not to be removed with the Pad. To remove the Glaze, use a 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Detail Cloth Part No. 06016.
